The ABSA shoot with Ministry of Illusion is, as you would imagine, largely post/3D driven. We needed to shoot people and some set elements on a very big chroma set so we chose to shoot at Gold Island studios. Lighting a studio that size to shoot at 1000/s shutter and f4, required a lot of lamps. We started off with 16x 6kw Spacelights and added floor lamps to that list.

The Panasonic HPX2700 P2 HD Varicam, shooting in the AVC INTRA 100 Codec, provided the 3D team with high quality HD images that integrated perfectly with the workflow at Ministry of Illusion.
